Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy equivalent.
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Psychology and Special Teacher or any course equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years experience in this field.
- Interested, compassionate, and kind with children.
- Excellent and proactive in teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an individualized intervention program based on occupational performance deficits in the areas of personal care, behavior, interaction skills, process skills, play, and communication.
- Provide clinically effective, person-centered, and evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children.
- Provide support and training to all education staff with regard to occupational therapy interventions.
- Independently review outcomes and modify intervention programs.
- Establish a good follow-up and progress update system to track progress and feedback to parents.
- Undertake student assessments of physical, communication, interaction, and cognitive skills.
- Plan and provide appropriate activities on Motor Skills.
- Undertake general administrative tasks, for example, writing reports and maintaining records and notes.
- Observe for intervention.
- Communicate with clients and families when appropriate.
- Keep detailed records and assess client progress.
