Auditor/Senior Auditor

Auditor: Performance of worldwide integrated financial, operational, compliance and information
technology audits, as appropriate, and special projects. Professional qualification required.

Working as part of regional internal audit team and reporting into our Audit Manager, this role will provide technical advice and guidance to deliver set outcomes to the quality and standard required of an international internal audit department.

1. Execute assurance (risk and compliance based) and consulting engagements at both regional and local level. May require work travel outside of Singapore when needed.
2. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
3. Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
4. Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
5. Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and variance analysis to senior management.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, organizational policies, and accounting standards, and stay updated on changes in regulations.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial reporting, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
9. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring their professional development and performance management.
10. Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks, collaborating with other departments as needed.
11. Participate in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and software to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting.

• Thorough knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Perform full audit cycle including risk assessment, internal control assessment, data analytics support, process documentation, scope determination, audit objectives development, fieldwork execution and agreement and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Source data and information in order to conduct in-depth root cause analysis for identified issues in order to advise on appropriate corrective actions.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring they understand the potential factors influencing goal achievement.
• Prepare and present formal audit reports for senior management reflecting agreed audit findings and associated corrective actions.
• Advice on process improvements and systems developments for the implementation of best practices.
• Provide specialist knowledge and advice to support internal and external stakeholders and achieve business objectives.
• Apply diverse but structured tools and processes to assist in the achievement of goals.
• Lead cross-function projects and initiatives.
• Work effectively both within a team environment and independently, and manage stakeholder expectations efficiently.
