Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technical audit function, ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards, professional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
2. Provide technical support and guidance to audit teams on complex accounting and auditing issues.
3. Review and enhance the firm's audit methodologies, templates, and tools to align with best practices.
4. Monitor changes in auditing standards and regulations, ensuring timely implementation and communication to relevant stakeholders.
5. Develop and deliver training programs to upskill audit teams on technical standards and practices.
6. Act as a subject matter expert in resolving technical queries and managing technical reviews.
7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive audit quality and innovation.
8. Lead and manage projects related to audit technical initiatives, including quality improvement measures and compliance programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) with a strong academic background in accounting, finance, or related fields.
2. A minimum of 10 years of audit experience, with at least 5 years in a technical or quality assurance role within a professional services firm.
3. Deep understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
6. Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and leading technical projects.
7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
