Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute audit and assurance engagements independently and efficiently, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
2. Assist in planning, performing, and finalizing audits in accordance with approved standards and procedures.
3. Analyze financial statements to ensure compliance, reliability, and fairness.
4. Identify and document key findings in high-risk areas such as revenue, taxation, and financial instruments.
5. Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a learning culture within the team.
6. Review audit documentation and financial statements for compliance with MFRS, MPERS, and ISAs.
7. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing high-value support and communication.
8. Stay updated with regulatory changes and share knowledge with peers.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Accountancy or partially completed professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, MICPA, ICAEW, CAANZ, CPA Australia)
2. Knowledge of MFRS/MPERS, Companies Act 2016, and Income Tax Act
3. Solid understanding of the complete audit process, from planning to finalization
4. Proven experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
5. Proficient in written and spoken English
6. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
7. Willingness to travel and ability to work independently
8. Strong knowledge of current auditing techniques, ISAs, ISQM, and relevant regulatory requirements
9. Familiarity with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Audit Express) is an added advantage
