Lead Audit Engagements: Manage audit assignments from initial planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
Mentor & Develop Staff: Supervise and mentor audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing valuable insights and understanding their business needs.
Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risk areas, implementing effective audit strategies to mitigate them.
Review & Quality Control: Prepare and/or review financial statements, audit reports, and working papers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
Stay Updated on Standards: Keep up-to-date with changes in audit regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and quality.
Requirements:
Recognized degree in Accountancy or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as MIA/MICPA/CIMA are required.
At least 5 years of working experience (mid to large sized audit firms preferred).
Proficient in Abot & AXP auditing software is required.
Work independently and be able to meet deadlines.
Assume a high level of responsibilities and commitment in audit advisory and compliance.
Good command in written and spoken English is a must to deal with clients.
Able to demonstrate technical competency in understanding Financial Reporting Standards (including MFRS and MPERS).
