Description

Lead and manage statutory audit engagements of companies in varied industries, planning, execution, compilation and reporting.

• Execution of audit engagements in accordance with MPERS/MFRS and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with audit managers, partners and clients to report on job progress, identify key audit issues and propose resolutions.
• Keep updated on current developments in accounting and auditing standards, tax law and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Undertake special audit assignments on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

• Holders of Accounting or Finance degrees, or candidates pursuing professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA etc).
• Relevant experience of 2-3 years or more in a related capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, UBS and AutoCount.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of English and Bahasa (in both written and spoken context).
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, highly disciplined, organised and efficient to effectively complete assignments to meet tight deadlines.
