Audit Semi Senior/Audit Senior

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out audit and assurance engagements in an independent, efficient and professional manner.
• Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment, seeking input for areas of concern and judgement.
• Prepare audit working papers and audited financial statements to ensure audit is carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards (e.g. MFRS, MPERS, US GAAP, etc.).
• Lead the audit team and provide coaching to junior staff.
• Assist in assurance engagements such as financial due diligence, verification work, agreed-upon procedure engagement, etc.
• Liaise with affiliates - secretaries, tax agents, bankers, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or currently pursuing professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Requires relevant audit experience of not less than 2 years.
• Willing to learn and possess excellent teamwork skills.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin-speaking clients.
