AUDIT MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage and lead audit teams to perform and deliver high quality assurance and compliance work for a portfolio of diversified clients.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and proficiency in technical skills necessary to review, oversee and provide leadership and support to the engagement teams to deliver work of high standard.
• Assist in training, supervising, developing and mentoring the audit engagement teams.
• Ensure audits are carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards, applicable financial reporting standards and other statutory requirements.
• Highly motivated, results oriented and capable to think analytically in order to troubleshoot and resolve work problems effectively to deliver value-added solutions to clients.
• Develop and strengthen good client relationships.
• Monitor budgeted time frames and work progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables and provision of quality services to clients.

Requirements:

• Possess a relevant degree in Accounting/Finance and professional qualifications or equivalent (MICPA-CAANZ, ACCA, ICAEW etc.) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of external audit experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Good computer literacy (knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx Engagement will be added advantage).
• Possess high integrity and a strong work ethic, and is able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English, and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.
