About the role

AdrianYeo PLT is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing complex audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate the execution of audit plans, ensuring adherence to professional standards and client requirements.
2. Supervise and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective audit procedures.
3. Analyse financial statements, identify risks, and recommend appropriate controls and process improvements.
4. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and provide value-added services.
6. Train and develop a good audit team player through coaching and mentoring.
7. Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's audit methodologies and processes.

Requirements:

1. Qualified accountant with a professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA).
2. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in external auditing, preferably within a reputable audit firm or public accounting organization.
3. Proven ability to manage and lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
6. Proficient in the use of audit software and data analytics tools.
7. Good knowledge of relevant audit, tax, and accounting standards and regulations in Malaysia.
8. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
9. Able to articulate & communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin is an added advantage.
