What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Lead Audit Engagements: Manage audit assignments from initial planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Mentor & Develop Staff: Supervise and mentor audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing valuable insights and understanding their business needs.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risk areas, implementing effective audit strategies to mitigate them.
• Review & Quality Control: Review financial statements, audit reports, and working papers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Stay Updated on Standards: Keep up-to-date with changes in audit regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Business Development: Participate in business development initiatives to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

What do we need from you (Job Requirements):

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Proficient in accounting and auditing software, as well as MS Office applications.
• Recognized degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent are required.
