Audit Associate

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Finance / Accountancy or pursuing a professional course.
• Able to work independently with integrity.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willing to learn attitude.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage for Chinese speaking clients.
• With or without experience; training will be provided.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced candidates can be considered for a Senior Position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing/assisting in audits for small to large companies in various industries.
• Preparation and presentation of financial statements ensuring compliance with the disclosure requirements of the Companies Act and applicable approved accounting standards in Malaysia.
• Liaise with clients and bring to their attention the weaknesses of the company related to accounting or other areas.
• Attend periodic stock takes and statutory audits when required.
• Assist in identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues and recommendations to ensure improvement in controls and procedures.
• Liaise with clients and relevant authorities.
• Other audit-related duties.
