Audit Associate

Requirements

We are looking for motivated Audit Associates to join our team at either our Klang or Bangsar South office. As an Audit Associate, you'll assist in planning and executing audit engagements across a diverse client base. This role involves close collaboration with senior auditors and management to ensure audits are completed accurately and on time.

• Education: Diploma or higher in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audits of financial statements in accordance with auditing standards and firm policies.
• Prepare financial statements, audit reports, and other documentation in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
• Analyze and evaluate clients' financial data, internal controls, and accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and communicate internal control weaknesses, compliance issues, and other matters that may affect the client's financial reporting.
• Work closely with the management team (accountants) to ensure engagements are completed within the required timeframe.
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, tax laws and regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the firm's training and development programs to enhance technical and professional skills.
