Audit Assistant Manager / Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Finance / Accountancy or pursuing a professional course.
• Minimum 5 years (Assistant Manager) and 6 years (Manager) of relevant audit experience in a professional services organisation.
• Preferably a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accounts or any other recognised professional body.
• Able to work independently with integrity.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage for Chinese speaking clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of audit professionals and manage a portfolio of audit clients.
• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements.
• Responsible for managing the audit client portfolio and to plan, delegate and lead the assignments including client servicing.
• To lead a team of auditors in carrying out duties, and to coach and mentor auditors for their career development.
• To review audit reports, identify issues, present audit findings and recommendations, as well as conduct appropriate follow-up actions and meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure audits are carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards.
• Work diligently with the Partners to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• To liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments according to different clientele portfolios and industries.
