Job Description

1. Being the subject matter expert in from presales to AV System Design and Implementation to clients’ requirements
2. Support the overall efforts of the design team, and at all times be the advocate for and adviser on issues that relate to multimedia systems.
3. Consider the complexity of designing a building. Thousands of details must be considered and coordinated. Audiovisual wise, there are dozens of critical issues to work out:
4. Lead and conduct Needs Analysis, Facilities Design, Systems Design and Implementation for client projects
5. Master and coordinate the resources across the company’s range of expertise necessary to propose and price a winning solution in the required timescale.
6. Accurately estimate resources required to design and deliver a solution.
7. Proactively communicate with engineers and sales on solutions provided and expectation set with clients
8. Develop and maintain positive relationship and feedback with manufacturers.
9. Constantly looking for opportunities to improve audiovisual solutions to meet client business needs

Job Requirements

1. Degree Holder or relevant
2. Minimum 5 years audiovisual technologies experience
3. Knowledge/experience on audio and video system such as Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, AMX, ClearOne, Biamp, Extron, and other bridging systems are preferred
4. Thorough understanding of audiovisual testing methodologies and quality assurance.
5. Practical knowledge of onsite installation technology and coordination.
6. Knowledge and practical experience in banking office/trading floor/video conference room setup.
7. Strong liaison and negotiation skills with client, AV vendors and contractors.
8. CTS qualification is preferred (audio visual qualification from AVIXA)
9. Ability to clarify and explain technical topics in both professional and layman terms
10. Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
11. Ability to identify, gather, analyze and understand information and reach sound conclusions, recommendations or solutions
12. Lead junior engineers and technicians in the project team
