The Assistant Director of Sales oversees day-to-day Sales efforts of the Senior Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Sales Executives, with specific responsibilities for directing sales, training, and implementing action plans set forth in the marketing plan under the general guidance and supervision of the Commercial Director.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Participate in the development and execution of the hotel marketing plan.
  2. Complete relevant courses of Hilton University on time and ensure to pass the test.
  3. Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities.
  4. Responsible for the promotion and sales of all products of the hotel, including but not limited to rooms, catering, banquets, etc.
  5. Complete sales targets and related tasks set by the hotel.
  6. Develop sales plans and obtain approval from the Director of Sales or Commercial Director.
  7. Understand customer needs through telephone sales, face-to-face visits, and other forms.
  8. Produce quotations efficiently, sending contracts to customers and following up promptly.
  9. Operate the hotel reservation system to book rooms, banquet venues, etc.
  10. Send teamwork orders promptly, ensuring the relevant departments receive the necessary information.
  11. Establish a good relationship with customers, maintaining customer information and promptly reporting customer needs and feedback to the hotel.
  12. Recommend other hotel chains within the group to clients.
  13. Proactively collect market and industry information to capture business opportunities.
  14. Understand and be familiar with all product information of the competitors.
  15. Welcome key customers, team leaders, and VIPs to the hotel when they arrive.
  16. Handle guest feedback or complaints.
  17. Maximize sales at all times and effectively forecast team and banquet revenue.
  18. Provide necessary supervision and guidance to the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
  19. Actively participate in the development of marketing plans and collaborate to achieve budgets.
  20. Assist the Director of Sales in organizing regular meetings to ensure effective communication.
  21. Assist the Director of Sales in completing relevant parts of the department budget.
  22. Provide regular training to employees to ensure familiarity with hotel products and processes.
  23. Regularly analyze customer output and market structure to anticipate trends.
  24. Assist the Director of Sales in recruiting, selecting, and training employees.
  25. Conscientiously perform assigned tasks and special tasks.
