Job Description

The team

Launch your product career by joining our Search Engine Acquisition (SEA) team, where you'll drive how millions of people discover and engage with SEEK through search engines.

You will be part of a young and growing team, typically working with others from Product including Product Managers, SEO Specialists, User Experience Designers, Digital Analysts and Developers, working within co-located development streams. Other teams that you will work with include AI Services Teams, Strategy and GTM, Front-End Services and Mobile Apps Teams.

About The Role

In this role, you'll tackle the exciting challenge of growing and optimizing our search engine presence, improving user experience, Apps Store optimisation and increasing conversions. The role involves managing product deliverables, such as experimentation and testing, and ensuring smooth delivery within the development team.

The Associate Product Manager reports into Senior Product Manager and is based in KL, with plenty of opportunities to collaborate closely with SEEK colleagues across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization principles and an understanding of the search landscape.
• Understand customer needs to solve the right problems.
• Assist in shaping and delivering the product roadmap, supporting the achievement of key business objectives and metrics.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of your products and their integration within the overall SEEK experience; collaborate with other product teams to improve the hirer experience.
• Support the engagement and management of partners across the business, contributing to building alignment and momentum for your products and initiatives.
• Contribute to Product Discovery efforts, helping to identify and address the most challenging problems.
• Inform product performance status and success metrics.
• Facilitate multi-functional collaboration within and between teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Stay informed about search engine domain, customer insights and competitor trends and share relevant insights with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to break down problems into manageable components and frame outcome-driven objectives.
• Strong curiosity about digital product management.
• Experience or exposure to online or software product development, preferably in agile team settings.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Experience with driving more app downloads via Apps Store Optimisation and web to app conversions, but not a must have.
• Passionate about making a positive impact for SEEK and our customers.
