Associate, Manufacturing Production Process Engineering (Calibration)

As an Associate supporting Process Engineering, you will be trusted to ensure calibration activities are performed efficiently to ensure plant wide equipment/machinery/instruments are in calibrated state at Johor, Malaysia. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform calibration datasheet/certificate review, IMTE registration, and support ad-hoc calibration activities.
• Monitor and support 3rd party calibration activities such as request quotation, raise purchase requisition (PR), follow up PO progress, service request report closure, shipment progress, arrange schedule for on-site calibration job, and deal with vendor for any calibration issues.
• Perform SOP Periodic review, and support completion of NCI, CAPA, and EC closure in a timely manner.
• Participate/support in improvement projects for continuous improvement such as cost savings, process optimization, and improve process efficiency.
• Ensure all calibration documents and practices are in compliance with applicable procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity requirements.
• Establish and ensure SOPs and documentation are compliant with OSHA, ISO 13485, GxP, and US regulations.
• Observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
• Adhere to Alcon Values and standards, observe and ensure full compliance with the Code of Business Conduct.
  
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or Manufacturing fields; or
• Diploma in Science, Engineering, or Manufacturing fields with at least 3 years of working experience in Calibration operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Working experience: At least 1 year working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prefer candidates with working experience in the Medical/Pharmaceutical industry or familiar with calibration requirements.
