Job Description

Reporting to the Category Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Engaging and building relationships with top sellers to plan assortment, pricing, promotional and campaign activities on Lazada to achieve sales goals.
2. Analyzing and preparing weekly performance figures to management, actively participating in weekly and monthly business reviews for the Women’s Clothing category.
3. Developing an understanding of Women’s Clothing category dynamics in the market, spotting trends, and supporting the category manager to develop category strategy to grow the segment on Lazada.
4. Constantly being prepared to learn new skill sets and be on the forefront of e-commerce knowledge development, and coaching sellers to adopt new tools and features to drive customer engagement and retention.
5. Working with cross-functional teams to execute on campaigns and strategic projects.

Job Requirements

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2. Experience in sales and sales management.
3. Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
5. Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
6. Strong ownership and attention to details.
7. Passion for improving both customer and seller experience.
8. Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in merchandising, preferably working in a fast-paced environment e.g., tech startup, e-commerce, or digital agency.
2. Experience in retail is an added advantage, either in retailer as brand principal/distributor.
3. Ability to translate analysis and insights into actionable strategy.
4. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
