Associate Engineer / Senior Technician, Reliability Laboratory 1

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for reliability daily operation which include Calla support, Solder paste printer, Pick and Place and Reflow Oven setup and operation based on standard test procedure.
2. Supporting Engineer on engineering evaluation, new production qualification setup, data collection, monitoring and improvement.
3. Perform daily process performance monitoring, reliability failure verification during operation, data and results analysis and update of test status.
4. Perform installation, set up and commissioning for reliability equipment to support new product REL testing and carry out chamber verification activities prior to release reliability equipment for operation.
5. Involve in the operation and safety of the laboratory and ensure all activities are carried out according to safety manual procedures that comply with standards.
6. Involvement in continuous improvement of Reliability processes (Measurement & Visual Inspection) to support new product and reliability techniques and applications, including laboratory sustaining activities (ISO/IEC 17025).

Minimum Requirements:

1. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering, science principles or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years working experience in a laboratory operation environment.
3. Experience in laboratories accreditation MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
4. Knowledge and experience in setting up new programs/recipes for Auto Visual Inspection (AVI) & Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) tests and SMT equipment.
5. Experience in SAP system and handling Reliability test equipment would be an added advantage.
6. Highly organized, self-driven way of working.
