Associate Engineer/Senior Technician, Reliability Laboratory

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reliability daily operation which includes Calla, Eviyos measurement operation support based on standard test procedure.
• Supporting Engineer on engineering evaluation, new production qualification setup, data collection, monitoring, and improvement. New recipes/program setup for respective equipment/process.
• Perform daily process performance monitoring, reliability failure verification during operation, data and results analysis, and update of test status. Supporting on sustaining of equipment (preventive maintenance) activities.
• Perform installation, set up, and commissioning for reliability equipment to support new product REL testing. To carry out chamber verification activities prior to release reliability equipment for operation.
• Involve in the operation and safety of the laboratory and ensure all activities are carried out according to safety manual procedures that comply with standards.
• Involvement in continuous improvement of Reliability processes to support new products, reliability techniques, and applications. Work with external vendors on equipment and process application topics.
• Involvement in laboratory sustaining activities (ISO/IEC 17025).

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering, science principles, or equivalent.
• 3 years working experience in laboratory operation environment and laboratories accreditation MS ISO/IEC 17025.
• Knowledge and experience in Assembly/SMT equipment (Reflow Oven, Paste printing, and Placement machine).
• Experience in SAP system and handling Reliability test equipment would be an added advantage.
• Highly organized, self-driven way of working and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
