Leads deal pursuit by securing new accounts, new business or up-selling within existing accounts. Works on deals that are typically large and require complex proposals, tailoring strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:
Leads deal teams and represents the company to the customer for deals.
Responsible for assembling all required resources/skills to develop proposals, pursue and win deals; develops deal timeline and ensures that pursuit team meets deal pursuit budget, milestones, and deadlines; leads pursuit team in developing and substantiating a winning value proposition that meets the needs of the customer, including analyzing critical business drivers and risks.
Leads negotiations for large complex deals.
Responsible for validating/endorsing the business and technical solution for the deal. Works with delivery teams to assure that solution design can be properly delivered.
Helps in the transition of deal leadership to permanently assigned management to ensure seamless asset transfer, personnel transfer, technology, and process adoption.
Provides support in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
Job Requirements:
University or Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Demonstrate mastery of business and functional knowledge in the Insurance and financial domain.
Demonstrate good managerial and planning skills.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT service sales role.
Selling/closing deals in the professional services space in the Insurance industry: Systems Integration, Application Development, Outsourcing, IT transformation, etc.
Proven experience in developing new accounts and direct selling 5 large professional service deals to medium to large Insurance companies.
C-Level client relationship building and relationship management.
Working experience in SG with connections to director level or above in clients in the Insurance industry.
Proven records in successfully meeting direct sales quota.
