Position Overview

The role will focus on supporting an efficient credit operation as well as maintaining compliance with Malaysian regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include system updates, loan processing support, data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting. The role involves collaborating with business, IT, and compliance teams to enhance system functionality. Additionally, the role recommends system improvements and stays updated on technological and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Processing Support

  • Facilitate end-to-end loan processing within the Loan Origination (LOS) and Management System (LMS), including disbursement, repayments, and account closures.
  • Monitor loan status and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Generate and review loan reports to assist management in decision-making.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, or inefficiencies in loan processing data.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure all loan transactions processed through the system meet regulatory guidelines and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
  • Perform system audits to identify potential risks or fraud.

System Troubleshooting and User Support

  • Assist in LOS and LMS-related inquiries and escalate issues to IT or external vendors when necessary.

Collaboration with Departments

  • Work closely with Business Division, IT and compliance departments to enhance system functionality and improve customer experience.
  • Coordinate with system vendors for system upgrades or customizations.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the LOS and LMS to improve processing speed, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in loan management technology and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in processing and managing loans in a financial institution.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in loan management software and banking systems.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and system integration.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of loan products and loan operations.
  • Familiarity with necessary guidelines and AML policies.
