Job Summary:
Responsible to provide effective and efficient operations and support to meet Branch and Company objectives and goals.
Job Description:
- Assist the Branch Manager on all aspects of daily branch operation and support
- Support marketing team in agency application, reporting, office administration, correspondences, credit control, payment, quotation, policy administration, renewal retention, and monitoring of CBC, MCM and CPD hours
- Handle agent, customer and OSS requests (applicable for those with OSS services), inquiries and transactions including complaint handling and claims administration (excluding claims handling)
- Underwrite and accept risks within the Underwriting Authority Limit as assigned by the Company
- Provide full assistance and support in servicing the assigned/non-assigned agent in respect of Office Agent Management
- Assist on BCM matters as and when required in a timely manner (if appointed)
- Perform any other duties/tasks as required by the Branch Manager to ensure smooth management of the branch operations including organization and event management, training, and administrative matters
- Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
- Adhere to AMLA provisions and all other applicable policies and compliance matters concerning GEGM and the Great Eastern Group
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies
- Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices
The Person:
- Diploma/Degree qualification in insurance related course. Insurance qualification is essential e.g. LOMA and AMII
- Experience in the insurance field for at least 1 year
- Good command of English language (both spoken and written). Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
- Possess high leadership skills and effective communication skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and has a good attitude towards teamwork
- Takes initiative to improve current processes and is adaptable to embrace new changes
