The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
The Role
In a customer-facing environment, lead processing implementation projects of a technical and non-technical nature. Deliver standard implementation activities ensuring quality and reliability of the implementations.
Major Accountabilities
- Provide end-to-end project execution throughout basic processing implementation projects.
- Drive basic customer processing implementation projects of electronic payments processing business activities following the global project coordination methodology.
- Guide customers through applicable Mastercard processing rules, specifications, and documentation.
- Identify appropriate processing implementation support documentation (contracts, agreements, forms, etc.) to be provided by customers.
- Handle multiple basic customer processing implementation projects in parallel.
Knowledge / Experience- General knowledge in payment transaction processing and industry business principles.
- General understanding of Mastercard's payment processing systems, formats, and associated customer host interface testing services and principles.
- General understanding of the 4-party model and the full transaction lifecycle for Mastercard brands.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree, majoring in Information Technology, Engineering, or Business, with a target graduation date between July 2024 and July 2025.
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals and technical understanding of REST API/Webservice (SOAP).
- Appreciation of technologies in the payment space.
- Ability to interact well with customers, manage change in a technical work environment, and work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong verbal and communication skills in English, with proficient local office language competency. Ability to speak, read, and write in Mandarin is a plus.
- You do not require work visa sponsorship now nor in the future to work in Malaysia. Outstanding record of academic achievement.
