Trade-Marketing Strategy and Campaign/Promotion Planning
Responsible to develop and implement trade-marketing plans to support product launches, promotions, and campaigns to achieve sales target and brand objectives.
Responsible to design, implement and execute all marketing campaigns and promotional activities aimed at driving shopper conversion and consumer retention, increasing product adoption, encourage upselling and cross-selling (e.g., for instance realizing all activities in various retail channel strategy to drive consumer engagement and sales).
Responsible to oversee the execution of in-store promotion, POS materials, and trade events and conduct review to check effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Responsible to collaborate with the sales team to provide tailored trade-marketing activities to enable key retailers to meet and exceed sales targets.
Assist in developing Point of Sales Materials (POSM) and keeping track of its usage as well as its effectiveness, by working closely with the Creative Team.
Responsible to manage the Trade-Marketing budget efficiently and ensure optimal allocation and tracking of spending to maximize ROI. Also, to highlight to Management of any abnormalities in cost expenditure.
Channel and Customer Focus
Responsible in product penetration to end users by implementing activities in accordance to pre-defined channel strategy.
Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in analysing data on brand and sales performance for future sales and marketing plan.
Assist the Trade Marketing Manager to follow up and evaluate the effectiveness of product category sales and promotional activities with Sales Manager and Sales Executives.
Co-lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with key retail partners, foster strong relationships to ensure successful collaboration and execution of JBP initiatives.
Support in merchandising and retail space planning, as in shelf display and increase distribution presence, by working closely with the Merchandising Team.
Support Merchandising team in planogramming during category revamp.
Assist and work closely with e-commerce team in new product listing and ensure that time to market is reasonable within the pre-defined time frame.
Category Focus
Responsible to execute and implement pre-defined counteractions for shortfalls in all planned channel strategies, planned trade strategies, Sale and Promotional activities.
Responsible to implement, monitor and keep track of the sales trade plan which includes all merchandising activities, promotional activities, and distribution activities.
With the pre-defined product merchandising guideline, he/she would be required to assist the Merchandising team for effective retail planning & implementation.
Assist the Trade Marketing Manager to identify shortfalls, issues in all product categories and come up with countermeasures for future planning. He/she is responsible to implement the planned countermeasures.
Work closely with Logistics to ensure stock availability.
Others:
Responsible to prepare and submit the required weekly / monthly report to Sales GM in accordance with pre-defined timeline.
Responsible to analyse the performance of trade-marketing activities, generate findings and insights for continuous improvement.
Assist the Trade-Marketing Team in developing and executing Fairs (such as Baby Fair), as and when required.
