About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Surveyor to join our team at Jurukur Metra', a bumiputera owned company of Geomatics and Mapping (Surveying). In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced Surveyors in carrying out a range of surveying activities across various projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting Surveyors in conducting site surveys, measurements, and data collection using a variety of surveying equipment and technologies
• Preparing detailed site plans, drawings, and reports based on collected data
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate survey findings
• Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data
• Collaborating with the wider construction team to support the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 Year experience in the geomatics and surveying field
• A relevant degree or diploma in Surveying and Mapping or a related field or SKM in Land Surveying
• Proven experience in land surveying industries is preferable
• Strong proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, such as Total stations, GPS, AutoCAD, Spectra SP80, CHCNAV, Survey Pro, MysCAD, AgiSoft, gAirhawk, Global Mapper, Pix4DMatic, and Agisoft.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and precisely
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and the team
• A keen interest in the latest surveying technologies and a willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills
