Responsible for the overall operation and performance of the store which includes sales, merchandising, operations, staff supervision, training and development, loss prevention and expense control.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and ensure efficiency of day-to-day operations of the store.
Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets with high standards of performance, good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive results, and excellent customer service.
Ensure that cash takings are banked daily and cash control procedures are adhered to.
Analyze sales results and implement constructive ideas for increasing revenue.
Plan duty roster to ensure optimized use of time and resources, assigning staff to specific duties and tasks.
Coach new staff by providing service/product training.
Conduct appraisals and interviews of potential staff.
Attend Seasonal Ekin Training and guide new staff on SKU training.
Keep track of merchandise sell-through and maintain good stock levels at all times.
Ensure proper stock control procedures are adhered to.
Ensure merchandise is well presented and visual display aligns with Brand's VM guidelines.
Maintain awareness of market trends and monitor competitor activities.
Handle queries, feedback, and comments from customers.
Ensure timely submission of administrative documents.
Maintain a safe and pleasant working environment.
Ensure the store adheres to and executes GMG policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties related to the job scope as assigned by the superior from time to time.
