Script Assistant – Bring Stories to Life with UA Pictures!

Role Summary:

As a Script Assistant at UA Pictures, you will play a key role in shaping engaging narratives for animated films. You’ll work closely with the creative team, assisting in scriptwriting, story development, and revisions to ensure seamless storytelling. Success in this role means contributing fresh ideas, refining scripts for clarity and emotional impact, and collaborating effectively with writers, directors, and production teams to bring stories to life.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing, writing, and editing scripts for animated films
2. Collaborate with directors and writers to enhance story structure, dialogue, and character development
3. Research and gather references to enrich storytelling elements
4. Ensure script continuity and alignment with the animation production pipeline
5. Organize and maintain script documentation for production teams
6. Provide creative input to improve storytelling and pacing

Qualifications:

1. Strong writing skills in Chinese (English proficiency is a plus)
2. Background in Creative Writing, Film Studies, Media, or a related field
3. Knowledge of film and animation production processes is a bonus
4. Passion for storytelling, movies, and animation
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
6. Experience in scriptwriting or novel writing is preferred (Fresh grads welcome!)
