- Monitor competitors' movements and provide marketing information and intelligence.
- Formulate and execute business strategies & action plans to create potential sales pipelines.
- Render technical consultancy & advice on Hitachi products to complete and secure project sales.
- Attend to sales enquiries, tenders and/or technical clarifications.
- Scrutinize and prepare quotations and tender submissions including deviations, if necessary.
- Perform market analysis and report findings to corroborate with business strategy, proposing business structure, pricing structure, and respective commercial conditions.
- Assist and support management in executing and managing on:
- Daily department work
- Management and all relevant reports as required.
- Sales and marketing follow-ups with end users, M&E consultants, and contractors.
- Attend and participate in tender interviews for negotiation of sales.
- Finalize and secure tenders/sales as much as possible with premiums of preferences in price and/or conditions.
- Monitor project progress, individual customer payment behaviors, and assist credit controllers in dealing with bad paymasters.
- Obtain feedback including complaints/compliments from customers about Hitachi's performance.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Channel partner development and management.
- Track record of generating and delivering at least RM5.0 million in revenue.
- Exposure and experience in the industrial component business, especially for UPS and air compressors.
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.
