To establish, implement and maintain the Company Quality Management System (QMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment (OHSAS).
To ensure it meets compliance with local relevant statutory requirements, international standards, local regulations, codes of practices, and legal requirements.
To assign roles, responsibilities, and authorities to the relevant personnel to ensure effective functioning of the above systems.
To serve as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and Deputy Health & Safety Management Representative (DHSMR) for the organization.
To prepare Internal Quality Plan and Schedule.
Carry out internal audit and amendment to QMS or OHSAS system as and when required.
To prepare Management Review Report for QMS and OHSAS system and to review/suggest ways of improvement.
To oversee and assure the project requirement and quality in compliance with certification requirements.
Ensuring QMS & OHSAS are in order with corrective and preventive actions in place.
Requirement:
Knowledge in the manufacturing industry is required.
Experience in QMS 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & 45001 preferred.
Experience in Safety & Health, Environmental and other legal legislation preferred.
Strong communication skills in dealing with certification bodies such as SIRIM, QAS, NIOSH, etc.
