Work collaboratively with the producer to oversee all elements from conception to completion for JCorp TV. This role is a 24-month fixed-term position. You will play a vital role in developing and executing content that informs and engages JCorp's audience. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can take initiative and ownership of projects.
Job Description
Work collaboratively with the producer to plan, organise, and execute production projects.
Participate in brainstorming content ideas that align with JCorp TV's strategy.
Collaborate on script development, storyboarding, and other creative tasks.
Coordinate location scouting, casting, and scheduling of talent (if applicable).
Prepare and organise pre-production materials and documentation.
Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., video editing software, project management tools, social media scheduling tools).
Basic familiarity with filming and audio recording equipment.
Assist in managing production budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices.
Work closely with crew members and talent to address any needs and resolve issues promptly.
Assist the post-production team with editing, review, and delivery of final content.
Help manage the transition of projects from production to post-production.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and JCorp's target audience.
Offer insights and ideas to enhance JCorp TV's productions and keep them fresh and relevant.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production workflows.
Identify and resolve any production issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain clear and open communication with all team members and external stakeholders.
Available for travel and on-location work as required by production schedules.
Support search engine optimisation and other digital marketing activities for JCorp TV.
Analyse and report on content performance using Google Analytics.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws.

Encourage and support the development of others, the team and the organisation by engaging in and contributing to the JCorp TV.

Undertake any other duties that may be required, and are commensurate with the grade of the job, in furtherance of the objectives of JCorp TV.
Ensure compliance with JCorp and its group of companies' policies, procedures and contract of employment.
Knowledge of copyright and licensing laws is a plus.
Passion for the media industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in television or video production, preferably in an assistant or support role.
