Responsible for daily production, work flow and material usage optimization, ensuring production meets customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading projects and ensuring execution of planning strategies.
Assessing capacity modules and schedules.
Driving down overall cost and enhancing production quality to fulfill yearly cost & quality targets.
Coordinating with other departments to resolve production problems.
Overseeing Key Performance Metrics of the Department.
Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
Proficient in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives, with the ability to devise and implement strategies to achieve targets.
Strong financial and analytical ability, with proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
Strong and convincing communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
MBA preferred but not required.
At least 6 years of related Materials Planning experience, including 4 years in a management role.
Proficiency in PC skills.
A combination of education, experience, and/or training.
