JOB DESCRIPTION
- An assistant operations manager works as a deputy to the Operation Manager to assist an organization’s operations. AOM will be handling stores and in charge of the Multi-unit Manager & Area Manager.
- Supervise & develop operations team to ensure operational excellence and achieving sales targets.
- Address operational issues and concerns in a timely fashion and ensure assignments are carried out as planned.
- Come up with plans that will benefit the company and ensure the company’s operations go smoothly.
- Submitting reports regarding operations in the company and passing them to top management whenever requested (Labour / WIP / Cogs / PNL / Exception report etc.).
- Extract, evaluate, and utilize data for store level Sales & PNL.
- Hiring and serving as a guide to new employees to ensure adherence to company rules and that the results of their various tasks meet company standards.
REQUIREMENT:
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Area Manager / Assistant Operation Manager in the related field.
- Prior experience in managing a cluster/area of F&B outlets is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with excellent written & spoken English.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain operational records.
- Strong communication skills to all levels - Operations Manager, Upper Management, Support Centre, staff, and customers.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement process improvements and SOPs within the Operations team.
- Ability to build, lead & manage a team in a fun environment whilst driving sales.
