Assist engineers in managing scheduling and arrangements for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of C&I and residential solar PV systems. Ensure efficient site visits, initiate fault diagnosis, and implement corrective actions in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.
Handle the application process for Permits to Work (PTW) and other site access requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Supervise and review maintenance activities performed by technicians and contractors, ensuring adherence to approved standards, procedures, and specifications.
Monitor system performance by conducting analyses of system generation and providing summaries of findings to assess overall system performance.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and best practices, including conducting risk assessments and preparing Method of Statement documents for specific maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, Solarvees, contractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and service warranty phases.
Establish effective communication channels and maintain proper documentation and related records as required.
Oversee the processing of quotations, invoices, purchase orders (PO), work orders (WO), delivery orders (DO), and payment statuses for registered vendors.
Assist engineers in report preparation, including Inspection Reports, Preventive Maintenance Reports, Corrective Maintenance Reports, and warranty claim reports for equipment such as inverters, PV modules, and data loggers.
Manage and maintain assigned company vehicles (if applicable) and oversee the inventory of spare parts, tools, and other essential assets.
Assist Engineer on conducting monthly checks on tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery, and van inventory to ensure sufficiency and compliance.
Assist Engineers with specific tasks as requested to support overall project and maintenance objectives.
Possess 1 year of working experience as Solar PV O&M Technician, or in an environment involving operation and controlling low voltage electrical equipment.
Extensive knowledge of electrical & solar PV theoretical understanding and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.
Possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Certified Electrical Supervisor by Energy Commission (ST) is an added advantage.
Good leadership and planning skills.
Customer-oriented, independent, and possess good interpersonal skills.
Possess a valid driving license D and GDL, and able to be based in Petaling Jaya.
Good communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally and written).
Physically and mentally strong and fit.
Able to work and respond on weekends and public holidays if required.
Able to work in a team and independently to support Engineers on difficult tasks.
