Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager, Marketing to be a part of Ar Rahnu Express, a trusted name in Islamic pawnbroking and a member of the Habib Group, offering Shariah-compliant financial solutions.

This multifaceted role is perfect for a creative marketing professional who excels in a hands-on environment. You will oversee multi-channel marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and publish engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Manage social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Analyse and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Design or coordinate the production of marketing materials, including banners, flyers, and advertisements.
  • Source external vendors for printing and production needs.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials to branches.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and increase foot traffic.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with branch teams.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the HABIB Group’s digital marketing team to create and execute digital ad campaigns.
  • Identify new digital marketing opportunities, including SEO, PPC ads, and email marketing.
  • Track and optimise digital marketing performance to maximize ROI.
  • Assist branches with local marketing needs, including event planning and promotional activities.
  • Provide tailored marketing guidance and resources to meet individual branch requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on content creation and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and management tools.
  • Hands-on experience with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of financial literacy marketing, digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance data.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
