Job description
Handle full spectrum of HR administration functions which includes manpower planning, recruitment and selection, payroll administration, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee training and development and industrial relations.
Liaises with Head of Departments / Managers on general HR related matters, including employee discipline, grievances and counselling.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly Payroll and HR reports to the Management.
Handle the recruitment process such as screening and evaluating job applications, sourcing, job advertising, interviewing and employment contracts to select the right candidates.
Prepare letters of Appointment, Confirmation, Transfer, Warning Letters, etc.
Ensure update of company employee organization charts.
Manpower budgeting and cost saving after reviewing the management requirement and planning.
Ensure that employee relation issues are properly resolved to maintain a good working climate.
Ensure compliance to corporate policies, governmental regulations and laws by keeping abreast of legislative decisions, changes in employment laws and regulations to limit the company’s legal exposure and liability.
Review, formulate and implement company compensation and benefits schemes to ensure competitiveness in the market.
Provide strategic advice to the management team on human resources and Industrial Relations issues.
Coordinate internal & external training programs.
Implement human resource policies and guidelines, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures for recruiting, rewarding, retaining, recognizing and developing staff within the company.
Administer personnel transactions covering group insurance administration, employee transfers, promotions and changes of employment status.
Monitor employee leave and attendance, probationary reviews, and conduct job appraisals for employment confirmation.
Liaise with relevant government agencies on HR statutory requirements and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
Organize outdoor and celebration activities planned by the company.
Liaise with agents on foreign workers and expatriate movement.
Ensure all compensation and benefits changes are in accordance with the approval processes contained in the Management Policy and Employee Handbook.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Admin or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in a related field.
Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Knowledge of payroll software is an added advantage.
Proficient in English and Malay.
Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
