Due to the aggressive development of the business, they are looking for an Assistant Manager, Risk Management to further add value to the business from a risk management perspective.

Job Description

As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital that the candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly reports for presentation to the Risk Management Committee.
• Monitor Group-wide enterprise risks and assess the effectiveness of controls.
• Keep abreast with emerging risks and report them to the Board Risk Committee.
• Conduct quarterly risk assessments with the respective entities.
• Travel often for risk workshops and discussions with departments.
• Identify and incorporate ESG and Climate related risks and controls into the relevant departments.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Assistant Manager, Risk Management will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must possess the below requirements:

Key Requirements:

• Candidate must possess relevant qualifications in Enterprise Risk Management and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Risk Management related field.
• Able to communicate fluently in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Excellent written communication and proficiency with technical reports at board standard. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experienced in leadership and reporting to top management.
