Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences related to products
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Provide nutritional consultation and product recommendations to customers
  • Provide nutritional advice and promote awareness on healthy diet and lifestyle to the customer
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
  • Work with product development teams to develop supplement products that meet customer needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure that product development projects are aligned
  • Respond, maintain, and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via Facebook personal messaging, WeChat, telephone calls, and emails
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends
  • Contact and arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with clients
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
  • Check the quantities of goods in stock
  • Actively participate in the department’s strategic planning activities in relation to the overall company direction
  • Record sales and order information and report to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Feed future buy trends back to employer
  • Lead the development of product training programs for internal teams and customers
  • Share best practices with colleagues
  • Work closely with the marketing department

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition & Dietetic, Food Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry, Nutritionist, Biomedicine, or any related discipline
  • Candidate must possess at least 3 years of working experience in the Health Supplement / Skin Care industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin & Bahasa
  • Candidate who excels in speaking, reading, and writing in Mandarin will have an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, highly self-motivated, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Possess own transport and be prepared to travel occasionally
