Assistant Manager, OLEO Business Solutions

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN MUTIARA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination with business and operational units to organise digitalisation and automation roadshows, promoting digital technology as a key enabler for process improvement.
• Serve as the liaison between BSIT and the businesses in facilitating idea generation and driving and promoting digital technology for process improvement, particularly at the operational level.
• Analyse and prioritise business requests for digitalisation and automation, ensuring timely assessment of relevant proposals before identifying suitable project leads within the BSIT team for execution.
• Ensure Business Requirement Study (BRS) are thoroughly scoped and prepared (project objective, business value, Return on Investment) before presenting to BSIT management for Go/No-Go decision.
• Lead the ideation and digitalisation projects (in collaboration with project and business teams), from initial concept through to final assignment to the appropriate solution team for execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with departmental stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and a clear understanding of the requirements for digitalisation and automation initiatives.
• Provide clear and timely updates & communication on project statuses and progress, keeping the business and stakeholders well-informed.

Job Success Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, Data Analytics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading business consulting/solutioning initiatives or a similar role.
• Highly organised individual with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong ability to interpret business requirements and present digitalisation and automation proposals clearly to a wider BSIT team, both technical and non-technical.
• Multitasking -the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to engage and align diverse business stakeholders across cultures.
• Proactive and analytical, with the ability to effectively assess business requests and proposals, ensuring strategic alignment and feasibility from a digital technology perspective.

Additional Notes/Desirable Skills

• Experience in process mining/mapping is desirable.
• Strong project management skills with professional certification in project management, i.e., PMP Certification or similar, is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in other digital solutions (e.g., Power Platform) or ERP technologies (e.g., SAP or other Enterprise Software Solutions).
