Their vision is to be the world's most trusted financial group. As such, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager IT Auditor with some people management experience to join the team.

Your new role

• To plan, execute and lead audit assignments based on a risk-based audit plan or other ad-hoc assignments.
  
• You will ensure timely update on the Audit Planning Memo, Audit Programme, etc., align with the requirements of the Board Audit Committee, Parent Bank, or regulatory authorities.
  
• You will complete assignments within the agreed timeline and schedule set by the Head of IT Audit.
  
• You will follow up and closure of audit assignments, including conducting exit meetings and issuing audit reports (or equivalents) to communicate assessment results and reviews for management action.
  
• You will assist the Chief Internal Auditor in preparing audit reports and other reporting requirements as needed by the Parent Bank, Regional Office, Bank Negara Malaysia, Management, Board Audit Committee, and other authorities.
  
• You will follow up and ensure proper closure of audit recommendations from the Internal Audit Department, regulatory bodies, and other outsourced audits.
  

Note: This opportunity is only open to Malaysians or individuals who do not require a work permit to legally work in Malaysia.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years of IT Audit experience in Internal/External IT Audit, IT Risk or IT Security Governance role.
  
• Should be certified in cyber/IT security domains (e.g. with certifications such as CISA, CISSP, and/or CISM) and CBA would be an advantage.
  
• Good understanding of industry best practices and/or Malaysia's regulatory requirements.
  
• Understanding of multiple technology domains including software development, Windows, database management and networking.
