Assistant Manager, Information Technology (IT)

• Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, new system deployments, and IT service improvements.
• Monitor and maintain IT system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure minimal downtime for all business-critical applications.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security tools and systems, such as firewalls, encryption technologies, and intrusion detection systems. Enforce IT security policies to ensure data protection, compliance, and risk management within the organization.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage selection processes and procurement of IT applications, systems, and services.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to onboard new employees, providing them with necessary IT systems, tools, and training.
• Lead the cross-functional project teams, facilitating communication, collaboration, and problem-solving to deliver successful IT initiatives.
• Oversee vendor management and relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Facilitate and coordinate with all business users and vendors to validate and finalize requirements, conduct testing, and manage incident and problem resolution post-Go-Live.
• Work closely with CPN group IT team to design, review, and manage the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure optimal IT capabilities.
• Lead the implementation of IT processes and security policies in alignment with CPN Group IT standards for Malaysia offices.
• Prepare and manage IT budget and expenses to ensure cost-effective IT operations and resource allocation.
• Prepare and present IT reports at monthly management meetings.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure the ERP system is operating at peak performance levels.
• Lead the implementation of automation and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase uptime.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices, recommending improvements to IT infrastructure and services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a recognized Degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in related field.
• Significant technical experience in IT infrastructure, software applications, and networking.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
