Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)

About the role

Sunrise Shares (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, HR & Admin to join our team in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. This full-time role is a key position within our growing HR and Administration department, responsible for the strategic delivery of HR services and the management of our corporate administrative functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
  • Administering payroll, benefits, and leave management systems to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction
  • Implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organisation
  • Coordinating staff events, facilities management, and other administrative duties to support the smooth running of the business
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Providing guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and organisational development

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in HR systems and data analysis
  • Proficient in Mandarin (speaking) would be an added advantage
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
