ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Plaza Premium Group has an ambitious growth plan to expand airport hospitality services (independent airport lounge, partner lounge management, airport meet & greet, airport hotel and airport dining restaurants) in over 500 new locations across the top 100 busiest airports in the next 3-5 years.

Business Analyst sits under the Global Business Development Department. This is an opportunity for professionals to participate in rapid global business expansion in a highly competitive and growing market.

Exposure to senior external stakeholders include but not limited to:

  • Airport concession/property division
  • Airline
  • Private-public-partnerships
  • Government and public sector
  • Architect and Interior Design Firm
  • Global Travel Retail

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support rapid regional business expansion, particularly APAC by proposing various business models and commercial offers as well as performing due diligence exercises.
  • Identify new markets and market needs, understanding of local industry landscape.
  • Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking exercise.
  • Coordinate with internal divisions and business units to align business strategies.
  • Strong understanding of business P&L including pros and cons of different business models.
  • Prepare finance and business analysis highlighting key issues and make recommendations for C-executive consideration.
  • Prepare financial models, proposals, budgets and valuations.
  • Ensure data integrity by timely and accurate data entry and database maintenance for performance tracking, budget control and future business decision making; run business analytics queries to demonstrate gap of performance for management.
  • Structure creative, competitive and feasible commercial offers, and support to formulate financial submissions in illustrations and writings.
  • Support other ad-hoc business analyses as required by the business development division.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a quantitative discipline from a reputable university.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mind-set, financial modelling and excel skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and under pressure, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and accuracy in financial analysis is a must.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in commercial or finance or business analytics fields. Candidates with solid exposure in corporate finance transactions and or multinational corporate environments will be an advantage.
  • Growth mind-set, negotiation skills and strong team spirit.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent command of both written and spoken English is a must.
  • CFA or CPA is an advantage.
