Assistant Manager, Data Science & AI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager, Data Science & AI to lead data-driven initiatives and support the organization in leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for business growth. This role involves managing data science projects, developing predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive AI adoption and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data science and AI initiatives to optimize business operations and drive strategic decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models and AI-driven solutions for business challenges.
• Manage and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Product, Marketing, and Operations, to integrate AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure data governance, model accuracy, and compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science technologies.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts to enhance technical expertise and analytical capabilities within the team.
• Support leadership in identifying AI-driven opportunities and formulating data strategies aligned with business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-driven analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics.
• Experience in working with large-scale data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or BigQuery is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Deep Learning.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, model interpretability, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI-driven products in a business environment.
