Oversee and manage the holding company’s Managed Security Operations Center (SOC), working closely with managed service providers to ensure robust security monitoring, incident response, and reporting.
Act as the primary point of contact between the managed SOC provider and the organization, ensuring alignment with organizational security objectives and SLAs.
Utilize Microsoft Security products to enhance and streamline security operations, ensuring full capabilities of these tools are leveraged.
Group-Level Cybersecurity Initiatives
Support group-wide cybersecurity projects, aligning with the cybersecurity strategy and objectives of the holding company and its divisions.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity teams of each division to foster a unified security posture, sharing best practices and ensuring consistency in security measures.
Governance and Risk Management
Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and maintain the cybersecurity risk register, identifying and addressing key risks across the organization.
Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls, working with both internal and external stakeholders to assess and improve security posture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, governance, and risk management.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Security products (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center) and familiarity with their capabilities in incident detection, response, and threat intelligence.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Proficiency in managing SOC operations and working with managed security service providers.
Demonstrated knowledge of cyber risk management principles, including threat assessment, risk analysis, and mitigation planning.
Expertise in leveraging Microsoft Security tools and platforms to streamline security operations.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
