Assist Credit Operation Services Department Head to deliver daily credit operations activities insourced from SMBC branches. This includes Credit Operation support such as Financial Data Input, credit document checking, credit limit implementation, credit applications and credit monitoring activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Draft and vet facility letter, agreement and security documents.
  • Review & check loan documentation to ensure credit terms comply with credit approvals and term sheets.
  • Responsible to ensure all Pre & Post conditions precedent are met before disbursement.
  • Creation of loan shell/limit within credit approval.
  • Review and ensure that all the responsibilities and operational aspects of agency roles are appropriately incorporated into the facility and security agreements.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely submission of credit related report to the authority.
  • Follow up with relationship managers/legal counsels/operations department on outstanding documentations/conditions subsequent.
  • To supervise efficient discharge of duties and responsibilities by staff and to continue reviewing and upgrading of department's services to customers.
  • To provide good support for the department's activities and ensure compliance with established rules, Service Level Agreement and regulations of the Bank and regulators.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Credit Administration role and mainly focus on documentation.
  • Good knowledge of statutory requirements and/or related rules such as Basel 3 and/or related rules such as accounting standards (IFRS/US-GAAP) is advantageous.
  • Experienced people managing skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines and work objectives.
