ASSISTANT MANAGER (CREDIT EVALUATION & ADMINISTRATION)

We are an emerging financial services institution. In line with our expansion and transformation programme, we are looking for highly motivated and qualified Malaysian talents to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To prepare loan analysis reports, credit segmentation reports, credit exception or any other credit management reports assigned and to ensure all reports required by Management are produced in a timely and good quality manner.
  • To assist in taking charge of the Credit Evaluation and Administration Department and to assist in reviewing and updating the credit and approval policies, guidelines, and procedures of all loan products for the Society. To review and conduct checks and verifications on credit risk assessment criteria for appropriate implementation.
  • To assist in marketing activities of credit products, processing, and loan assessment in accordance with policies and procedures;
  • To liaise with panel lawyers on loan and loan documentation matters in relation to any securities/pledges made in favour of the Society and ensuring that the legal documentation is correct and complete before any disbursement.
  • To assist in monitoring and managing the department’s overall performance including daily work activities and monitor the processing turnaround time to ensure operational efficiency.
  • To assist in developing a market-driven credit evaluation and approval framework to fulfil Business Plan requirements and strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Business/Economics/Finance/Accountancy;
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and accounting ratios is required;
  • Minimum 2 years of related working experience in banking and finance with good knowledge of the business environment;
  • Computer literate and well-versed with MS Office applications;
  • Committed and dedicated with a positive working attitude;
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation;
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia and proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage;
