JOB DESCRIPTION:

Corporate Finance / Capital Management

• Preparation of SEB Group long-term financial model and its sensitivities
• Preparation for the evaluation, structuring and execution of a merger, acquisition, disposal, restructuring and/or financing transaction
• Team member of a transaction including managing the due diligence process, negotiations with counter-parties and management of external advisers
• Responsible for the preparation/approval papers to Senior Management as well as the Board of Directors for M&A deals, investment proposals and other relevant projects
• Manage and execute ad-hoc strategic projects as approved by Senior Management

Corporate Planning

• Preparation of consolidated Group Business Plan and work closely with divisional team members to challenge the projections
• Track and report on quarterly basis, the progress of the rolling forecast against approved Business Plan
• Preparation of Group Business Plan and Quarterly Performance slides to Senior Management as well as the Board of Directors

Appraisal and Analysis:

• Managing relationship with JV partner primarily Brazil JV, SapuraOMV and SapuraBH by obtaining more insights on business performance and challenge the robustness of the actual and forecast numbers.
• Support the FP&A and Business Finance functions

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Degree in accounting and/or finance or professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of (7/8) years of relevant working experience, preferably in Oil & Gas Industry

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations.
• Positive and professional attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
• Proficient in MS Office, added advantage for knowledge of using SAP system
• Excellent command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken.
