Work with the department and/or Media & PR agencies to plan and execute media strategy for SHG and its SBUs.
To regularly update the representative from media and/or PR agencies to ensure they are aware of all our events and ensure they work with the media to position our events in the respective media accordingly.
Work closely and maintain relationships with media to ensure promotion activities carried out received maximum media coverage and commercial value.
Produce press releases, speeches, articles, etc. for media consumption.
Assist, where needed, in the content and copywriting of all print & digital collaterals such as hoarding, banners, flyers, brochures, posters, website, etc. for marketing and promotions from SBUs.
To be responsible for the content writing, research, interviews, for the development of the SHG newsletter and ensure timely release of the SHG’s newsletter.
To be accountable and ensure timely approvals are obtained from KDN, KKLIU and MMA for hospital wide collaterals/events.
Assist and coordinate / manage major events e.g. press conferences, MOU signing ceremonies, new products or services launches, VIP visits and tour.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, English and Creative Writing, or a relevant degree
Minimum 5 years working experiences in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs of any organization, or editorial experience in PR agency or journalism
Good knowledge in PR, Writing, Traditional and Digital Marketing & Communications landscape and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and BM. Able to speak other local dialects is an added advantage
Good Presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to cope under pressure while managing multiple projects
