Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of CI Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives for utilities and optimize production yield.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to identify, analyze, and solve process improvement opportunities.
- Conduct takt time studies for all production operations to identify areas for headcount reduction and streamline processes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality) to ensure successful project implementation.
- Track and report on project progress, cost savings, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and implement new CI tools and techniques to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Lead and manage CI programmes across the company (6 sigma, RCA).
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team on CI projects.
- Strong understanding and application of Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
